HEY THERE... YOU'VE WANDERED INTO... THE AU ZONE!!!
SO... WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT?
this page is the home for my FNAF AU! i call it ghosts of the past... which really sounds more fancy than it is. anyways, this AU is basically just like "what if FNAF lore was actually good. and GAY."
a quick rundown of what's so different about it:
- less sci-fi, more paranormal like old fnaf
- addendum to above point - remnant is more a concept than something tangible and real. it's essentially the part of the soul that cannot move on. those who die of particularly brutal deaths, or have unfinished business, tend to have more soul staying behind than those who had fulfilling deaths.
- willry canon for shits and giggles (past tense)(they are like a divorced couple)
- semi-good dad william (until the horrors)
- more complex character dynamics, personalities, etc. (i really like to focus on the internals of them all - so, lots of inner monologues in my writing)
- more focus on the tragedy aspect (when im not fucking around)
- a mildly comprehensive timeline!
- transgenderism (william is trans bc i believe it in my heart to be true)
- ends at fnaf 6/pizza sim FOR REAL THIS TIME! (UCN still exists as a sort of epilogue)
THE TIMELINE.
Pre-Canon
College (Henry, William, Clara, and Maria meet): 1958 ➡ Michael born: June 1968 ➡ Lizzie born: September 1974 ➡ Fredbear's opens (+ Evan born): August 1977 ➡ William's first springlock failure: Late 1978
Early 80's
Bite of '83 (Evan's death): August 1983 ➡ William kills Charlie: Early September 1983 ➡ Fredbear's shuts down: Mid September 1983 ➡ Elizabeth gets SCOOPED: Early 1984 ➡ FNAF 1 animatronics created and finished: Early 1984 ➡ FNAF 1 opens: Early 1984 ➡ Missing Children's Incident: June 26th, 1985
Late 80's
FNAF 1 closes, FNAF 2 opens: Early 1986 ➡ William and Henry disappear from public eye after both almost getting arrested: Mid 1986 ➡ Michael goes and gets SCOOPED: Late 1986 ➡ Bite of '87 (Jeremy hospitalized but alive): 1987
90's
William comes back as Dave, working at FNAF 2 for a while: December 1991 ➡ Michael returns to FNAF 2: Early 1993 ➡ William dies after 2nd springlocking: 1993
00's
Michael and Henry reunite for some time: Mid 2000's ➡ FNAF 3, Springtrap awakens: Early 2023 ➡ FNAF 3 burns: Mid 2023 ➡ Michael opens up a Freddy's location: Mid 2024 ➡ FNAF 6, everyone DIES: Late 2024
